Such a great place. They always have a huge selection and the staff is extremely knowledgeable. You can get it to go or they can make a plate of whatever you want that will be beautifully presented to you at one of their tables. They also have a great selection of wine. Love this place!

We stopped by yesterday it was quiet and adorable and the food was delicious. I asked a lot of cheese questions and they took the time to explain everything we drove far but absolutely worth it. I highly recommend it for a relaxing enjoyable meal and will be going back soon !

Always a treat to visit this wonderful cheese shop. Michael and staff’s recommendations are always a hit. Got some goodies in the Greenport location and then finished up with the Love Lane shop for some specialty items last week. Thanks for all your help

Our meal just arrived and the postivite things we have to say are many. The cheese selection is fantastic, the cheese counter has us wanting to purchase a variety to go, the staff is friendly and informative, and the food is mmmmmmmmmm!

Service was a little slow, but there was a great reason. The cheese monger was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He gave us samples and let us take our time to choose. I would highly recommend stopping in and getting an education and some cheese.

Been coming here for years and while it's not cheap it is great. Sit down have a bottle of wine and bite into some cheese. Very friendly staff with a great quaint old school ambiance.

Bring your charge card because yummy cheese ain't cheap! That aside...we literally drive 45 mins to visit this adorable little place a few times a year. A friend and I fell in love with a few cheese that we sampled while we were visiting Martha Clara's. Turns out it came from a little shop just down the road a piece...The Village Cheese Shop. Workers are all very nice, very patient, and extremely courteous.

If you get a chance to go try the tricotta Al Limone-ltaly buffalo ricotta lemon cake.

It is a cozy and romantic place. Love their cheese plates and fondue. I recommend this place.

Let me start by telling you that the fondue was out of this world, the best that I ever had. Try the sandwiches, we had the one with blu cheese and it was simply great. No regrets here but they are a bit pricey, worth it.

We pop in when in the area. Saturday evening we stopped in with our son and his wife. Paige, the owner was not there at the time and a young guy made our cheese plates. We like different/unusual stuff and left it up to him. The three flights we had were great, bought one cheese to take home and had a good time. Impressed with how knowledgeable the guy was, looked like he could have been in high school even. That's not a slight but a compliment to how much he knew.We like to support small business owners and highly recommend a visit here. Paige is always very pleasant and helpful. Great little place!

Very nice place, have been there many times as I'm a little picky with my wine and cheese and this pkace has great cheese, they let you taste the ones your interested in and are always knowledge and professional behind the counter.

This was a really cute place. It had really good food even if you’re not specifically a ‘cheese person.’ They have sandwiches and desserts as well as a cheese plate. Super cute and great food.

So many cheeses! Fondue! Make your own cheese plate! Have wine! Or just get cheeses and accoutrements to go! My favorite place to eat on the North Fork and a yearly tradition.

All the cheese! I do prefer French gruyere over Swiss, but am I really going to complain about cheese?!

Had a good experience in here with my kids. The food was served quick and the service is just good. Prices are reasonable.
